Catriona Channing
Catriona is the business owner and is a passionate artist. Catriona has designed many bespoke costumes and body art in the fashion industry, Her body art and costumes have been featured in numerous newspapers & magazines.
Catriona is an avid charity supporter and featured her body art for cancer survivors in a prestigious catwalk show. Catriona is passionate about her art and all things design.
With Catriona expanding her passion to help other people and charities she has won many awards and has maintained the 5 star salon rating issued by the Good Salon Guide.
When you visit Blades & Beauty you will see all of Catriona's creations and charity work all over the salon with each piece representing a charity event and hundreds of hours of pain staking work.
Catriona will often been seen at her salon cleaning, making cups of tea and coffee for her clients or chatting away and generally taking the time to make everyone feel welcome .
In May 2022 Catriona was invited to present an award in the Europa Hotel which she was honoured to do but unbeknown to her the following evening she was actually going to be awarded the most inspirational women of Northern Ireland in the Local Women awards.
Catriona has won many awards and is genuinely humbled that she is so well thought of in the local community as a lot of things are done with no publicity yet many people went out of their way to ensure she was recognised for all her hard work in the local community and beyond
